I had once disconnected from the digital space because I believed that the things I gained were less than the unnecessary things I do there. I returned after a short while because I realized that the little a gained there were very useful and I get involved with new things to reduce the unnecessary things I do on my device.

I really enjoyed reading this, thank you.

I had recently left the digital space. The break lasted for about a month or so. I didn't know exactly why I was going off although when a few close friends asked all I said was "I'm just taking a time off for myself."

It wasn't until 2 weeks into the break that I realized the exact reason I went off all social media platforms; there was just so many things going on. It was almost like I was lost amidst the turbulence of other people's life. It was overwhelming. Being constantly fed with everything about everyone and feeling a little in the shadows. While on this break, I realized as much as it was mentally exhausting, there were times I knew being on these platforms were making positive impacts in my life. And I couldn't just give it all up because of the inevitable con that comes with these platforms.

I could only limit myself to the benefits and honestly, there are a lot. This involved following pages I knew were aiding my growth and interacting with people on almost the same journey as I.

Okay, I'm talking too much now. Lol

This was a really nice read by the way. Thank you for sharing.
