Good day, dear one. I hope you're doing great.
Today, I'd be sharing with you, the significance of making decisions and helping others.
Your life is yours: your choices are yours. Your parents conceived you and they have their part to play in your growth. It includes providing the basic amenities of food, clothing and shelter, being accountable for our ill-health, injuries, nurturing us back to health; catering for needs and wants. Some parents go as far as laying the foundation of a sound education for their offspring; struggling to make ends meet to make a meaningful impact in their lives. May the Almighty God bless our parents. Amen.
That being said, our part is the greatest.
We live together, but we grow alone. You can receive directives from people with experience, being a mentee, read books, watch videos and all other stuff it is people do and say when seeking personal development.
Regardless, the decision making is yours. All things being equal, with your brain working in harmony with your heart, you are the mastermind of your actions.
I was listening to a radio program last Saturday. The presenter was talking about how things have changed drastically in our community. “People do not even care about each other anymore. It’s always the zeal for wanting more and more and more. What they do not know is that kindness pays.”
Every act of compassion is worth it.
Do not forget.
You are responsible for the choices you make. Even if they are inspired by words some persons have said, actions performed by icons, be in the know that you still would accept responsibility for the outcome.
Spread goodwill as much as you can. The economy isn't smiling we all know. The world now needs people who can make a positive and meaningful impact. People who can promote better friendship and justice by their actions. People who are willing to give back to the community without any directives or pamphlets.
Do your best to be happy and to make others happy. Try to put a smile on people's faces; at least one per day.
Establish and maintain healthy relationships. Move with like minds. It's a strenuous world, avoiding tension and anxiety from a parasitic association( pardon me for using this word) is necessary. While doing this, learn the habit of tolerance and resilience; as everyone can never act the same way.
Do what you’ve got to do, and do it well.
Stay safe out there.
Till I write you again,
-Roqeebat Bolarinwa.
It depends on you.
